Jeff also met several Mormons from Utah that are contacting Mitt Romney&#xD;

    <summary type="html">When I moved to DC almost two years ago after living in Ithaca, NY, I could not believe the lack of environmental consciousness here.  Esp. considering all the educated folks and headquarters of various env'l nonprofits.  It all seems to be about professionals and their *conveniences*.  Like takeout containers.&#xD;
&#xD;
Is it really true that they just mix the recyclables in with the regular garbage?  My old building had recycle bins, but it's true that the management didn't seem to take them really seriously.  Nothing was labeled and people sorta-kinda separated materials, sometimes.</summary>

My landlady (an environmental attorney) won't put out recycling bins because she said they just mix it up with the regular garbage and it winds up in the same landfill as everything else.&#xD;
&#xD;
So I take my bottles and paper to my boyfriend's house in Pennsylvania!</summary>

    <summary type="html">I am interested in the answer to this, as my building has NO recycling bins so I usually take my recycling down the street. to another recycling can which I know is not kosher. I wonder if it is just a matter of contacting the garbage company. Also, anyone know of any composting options in DC?</summary>

    <summary type="html">I live in an 8 unit condo building in Adams Morgan. The residents of the building are only allowed a single blue bin for recycling - to share! Of course this means that mostly we don't bother. I am just starting to research how to get more recycling bins. Does anyone have any suggestions?</summary>
