Weekend Workshops
Sharon Kihara will lead an intense weekend of bellydance instruction designed to build your knowledge of muscle movement and technique. She will also teach some new funky tribal moves and combos to take home and practice! A student of Suhaila Salimpour, Sharon Kihara builds on her knowledge of the Salimpour technique as well as pilates and yoga to give students a strong foundation upon which to build their dance. Workshop attendees can look forward to learning how to build muscle control for crisp isolations, slow and snakey arms, and crisp turns. Sharon will also teach a variety of tribal moves and combos incorporating her lessons on proper execution and technique. The weekend workshops are open to dancers of all levels! Don't forget your yoga mat!
