Samira

Samira currently performs regularly at 5 different DC/VA establishments as well as parties, cultural events etc. She is a proud member of DC Tribal and will be teaching at Tribal Fest 6 in CA. Her dance education includes majoring in jazz dance for 2 1/2 years at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and her two main teachers are Artemis Mourat and Yasmin.

Gypsy Fusion of Annapolis Maryland
We are a Tribal Fusion Belly Dance Troupe that mixes ATS, Egyptian Cabaret, Flamenco, Hip Hop, African and Indian dance into our own unique style. We love to try and break the boundaries of what most people consider to be Belly Dancing. Our Love and Passion for Belly Dancing feeds our inspiration and interpretation.

Asharah

Asharah has been performing since the age of six as a dancer, figure skater, and singer. She began belly dancing with Kim Leary in New Jersey more than six years ago, and has also studied extensively with Artemis Mourat as well as other renowned performers and instructors. As a performer, Asharah aims to blend her training in the Suhaila Salimpour format with the tribal, Turkish, and classic American cabaret styles while adding her own signature dash of drama. She currently teaches at Joy of Motion studios in Washington DC, performs regularly at the Shisha Lounge in Sterling, Virginia, and is featured on the recently released Gothic Bellydance DVD produced by World Dance New York.
